Overview of Our Scholarship Program
In early 2024, we launched a scholarship initiative to support students in continuing their studies and pursuing their professional dreams. Donations marked with the comment ‘scholarship’ are reserved exclusively for this purpose. Here are a few examples of how we have utilized the scholarship funds in the first half of 2024:
- Supporting an 11th Class Student:
- One student, who had lost his mother and was left alone after his father moved back to the village, was struggling to balance a job and full-time study. He worked as a helper with a local carpenter to pay rent and support his sister’s education. After reconnecting with him, we provided him the opportunity to study at our tuition center and coached him for his 12th class. We also offered financial support for his rent and living expenses. He successfully graduated class 12 this year.
- Admission to the Open School System:
- We assisted two other students in gaining admission to the Open School System of India. This system allows them to study in their free time while working. The government provides the examination and certification.
- Supporting a Future Doctor:
- One of our students, who dreams of becoming a doctor, finished class 10 with us. However, he left because we did not offer the necessary subjects for the physics stream. After a year of self-study, we found him a sponsor for online coaching classes for the required subjects. We also provided him with a smartphone to attend the online classes and interact with the teachers. He is performing well and keeps us updated on his progress.
Our scholarship program is dedicated to ensuring that students can overcome financial barriers and continue their education, empowering them to achieve their professional goals.
