Our second Educational Center, ‘Rejoice,’ was founded in 2019 and is located in a city just outside of New Delhi. This developing area is home to many laborers working in construction, with a significant number hailing from Bihar, one of the poorest states in India. Despite the challenges, our center stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity. Our mission is to provide quality education and resources to students, fostering an environment where they can thrive both academically and personally.
Our Students
Currently, our Rejoice center proudly supports 17 students, a mix of boys and girls. Unlike Delhi, where gender-segregated schooling is necessary due to limited school availability, Haryana schools accommodate both boys and girls together. This inclusive environment helps foster mutual respect and understanding among students.
Educational Programs
We offer free tuition classes from grade 4 to grade 9, with plans to extend our support through to grade 12 as our students progress. Our dedicated teachers are committed to ensuring each student receives the individual attention they need to excel in their studies.
Upcoming Facilities
In the last quarter of 2024, we will inaugurate a library and computer lab in our basement. These facilities will be accessible to our students and other students in the community.
The Library
Our library aims to provide a quiet, resource-rich environment, crucial for effective studying. In an area where families often live in cramped conditions and face frequent power cuts, our solar-powered building offers a reliable, distraction-free space for learning.
Computer Classes
We are excited to introduce computer classes where students will learn essential skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel. These classes will equip them with the digital literacy necessary for future success in an increasingly tech-driven world.
Community Engagement
Beyond academics, we envision the Rejoice center as a hub for various educational activities, transforming into a community center where people can gather for learning and growth. Our goal is to create a supportive and resourceful environment for the entire community.
